Lucky Ladd Farm

Our day at Lucky Ladd Farm...

First things first- feed the starving animals.

Then collect some treasures...

Hi Bubba!

Back to the sheep...they were cute, in a funny, weird sort of way...

Smile!
(This is her I am WAY to busy feeding these animals to look at mom smile.)

Alex really wanted to go down the monster slide.  Thankfully the kids wanted to go with him. ;)

Bubba went twice.

Bubba also found a tractor....

And Big Sis got to ride the barrel train!

She could only manage going around one time though...too bumpy.

She did love the swings.

Not so much diggin the swing idea.

Yep. She found sand. She cant help herself.

And we watched the tractors drive by...big red ones.

Exploring.

We figured out baby chicks are stinkin' cute.

We got a couple pumpkins, had a few hot dogs, sat by a big fire, got nice and toasty, and watched the moon come out. It was a pretty fun night. :)

16 months already?

A little about "Bubba"

He signs:
Dadda

giraffe
shoes
hat
milk
book
all done
please
thank you
baby
airplane
bird
owie
cookie

Favorite things:
blue silky blanket, little stuffed giraffe
climbing the couch to the top
dancing (itsy bitsy spider)
wearing his shoes
buttons of any kind
books
riding his little pooh car
belly buttons
taking baths
trucks
being tickled
playing tag with sister

I cant get him to even look at me when I say his name but the second I mention taking a bath this kids all ears.

LOVES pushing the buttons. Would do this all day if I let him.

Little lady never really messed with the toilet paper. Little man is all over it. I am getting used to finding a freshly unrolled pile of toilet paper on the ground. As weird as it is I think I will miss this when hes older...

Hes preeeety serious about pulling his sisters ladybug luggage around the house. :)
Does this daily.

I cant believe its been 16 months since the little guy looked like this:

Man time flies.

Amazing love

Amazing Love

I’m forgiven because You were forsaken,
I’m accepted, You were condemned.
I am alive and well, Your spirit is within me,
Because You died and rose again.

Amazing love,
How can it be
That You, my King, should die for me?
Amazing love,
I know it’s true.
It’s my joy to honor You,
In all I do, I honor You.

I’m forgiven because You were forsaken,
I’m accepted, You were condemned.
I am alive and well, Your spirit is within me,
Because You died and rose again.

You are my King
Jesus You are my King

I really cant believe how much I tear up these days. I am turning into quite the softy I think. :) We sang this song at church last week, and I have heard this song, like, a million times before. But for some reason It really got to me this week. And I love when that happens. I walked out of church with my eyelashes stuck together,  but that's OK with me.
I guess it has been a while since I have really stopped to think about what the Lord has done for me.  And what a perfect title for it. Amazing love. I have the song on my play list if you want to listen to it, just scroll down to the very bottom of my blog.  And have a lil' listen. :)

Favorites

Hannah's favorite things:

First off we have the shoes. Oh heavens the sparkly pink shoes. She got these shoes from Auntie Erin for her birthday, and she wears them everyday. With socks.  I don't blame her. They are quite lovely don't you think?

Next off we have the momart (monarch) butterfly. I realize it isn't really a monarch, but you see, any butterfly/moth that has any orange on it whatsoever, is a momart by Hannah's terms.  If there happens to be two orange butterflies on our butterfly bush, can you guess?...one is a momart and the other is a dadart. Makes sense right?

That face just melts me.  I made her (yeah made! It was so darn easy and so stinkin cheap!) this little tutu for Halloween, because she's going to be Ladybug girl. But we thought it would be fun to see what red hair would look like.

 The Little Mermaid. 'Nuf said.

And lastly; snails and worms. We search for them whenever we are outside. And we always save the ones on the sidewalk when it rains. A girl after my own heart. :)

Getting the mail

Our daily adventure to the mail box...

We...

-always walk (jump) on those water meter thingis.

-always run to the corner, and then walk home.

-usually fall sometime during the walk.

-usually find some sort of creature... ant, grass hopper, frog, bunny, butterfly.

-always wear our hats when the sun is shining.

-always wave to the nice neighbors we see.

-sometimes hold hands.

-we always bring a friend, a kitty, Ariel, Cinderella...

-have loads of fun walking to the mail box. :)
